Biography
Atakan Selte is a Research Specialist working with Dr. Melanie Boly at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Neurology. With the goal of becoming a neurologist, he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Istanbul University in 2020. His interest in the scientific study of consciousness and its clinical implications stems from a long-time curiosity about the mind-body problem. Aside from his work on processing and analyzing high-density EEG data in this center, he is also collaborating with Dr. Olivia Gosseries at University of Liege-Coma Science Group to analyze visual function, visually evoked potentials and PET data in patients with disorders of consciousness.
