Biography


MSc in Cognitive Science, Cognitive Neuroscience, University of Trento, Center for Mind/Brain Sciences, Italy.
BSc in Philosophy, Bioethics, University of Bologna, Italy

As cognitive neuroscientist and philosopher, Benedetta’s multidisciplinary work aims to study the relationship between brain activity and subjective experience. To this end, her research combines neuroimaging at different spatio-temporal scales and phenomenological sampling, benefitting from the complementary information that different levels of analysis provide. She applies these methods in a range of topics including (dis)connectedness, consciousness and cognition.

Research Interests: consciousness, neural correlates of consciousness, phenomenology.
